International Association for Near-Death Studies
Emphasizes providing the highest quality information available about NDE-related subjects.
Where scholarship does not indicate a reasonably clear position on the origin or interpretation of of near-death and similar experiences, the Association’s position is to remain impartial and open to the presentation of varying points of view. IANDS maintains an information-rich website and an online archive of experience accounts, publishes a peer-reviewed scholarly journal and a member newsletter, sponsors conferences and other programs, works with the media, and encourages the formation of regional discussion and support groups. Contact information is at the website: www.iands.org.
